See and hear the boreal birds (gray jay, white- throated sparrow, black-backed and Northern three-toed woodpeckers, boreal chickadee, etc.) that live and breed in the Adirondacks. Lectures, slide shows and hands on field trips with expert naturalists will teach you about the flora and fauna in the area.
Focus on migratory boreal birds. Program falls during "bug season," which attracts birds to the Adirondacks in late May and June. Trees are not in full leaf making birds more visible. Please bring repellent and long pants. Bug jackets are available.
