Join us for an opportunity to fish for native Brook trout in a remote section of the Adirondacks. Encompassed within 126,000 acres of wild forest and unexplored wilderness, Great Camp Sagamore is a former Vanderbilt family lodge with a long sporting history. The week is jam-packed with events including large stream, tributary, and lake fishing opportunities as well as craft beer sampling, fly fishing instruction and fly tying, and presentations focused on the history, culture, and ecology of fly fishing in the Adirondacks. Don’t miss out on the chance to pursue these unique Adirondack trout!
Expect classic Adirondack fishing along densely wooded streams populated by hungry trout. Learning the art of roll casting and adaptive techniques will serve you greatly here and on future fishing adventures.
Here at Great Camp Sagamore, we enjoy hosting adventurous souls and fostering a passion for the outdoors and conservation through hands-on experience. We are not a guiding service. Please bring your own gear and license.
All-inclusive cost: $625 per person (lodging, all meals, and all program activities).
