Fly Fishing Weekend
June 8-10, 2018
The weekend will consist of experiential learning in how to fly fish, practicing the techniques learned, and spending time on the water fishing. Participants will need to bring their own basic equipment (fly rod & reel, waders and other fishing gear you own). If you do not have a fishing rod or reel, please let us know when you register - we have a limited supply. All-inclusive cost to attend is $340 per woman and includes 2 night accommodations, all meals served in our dining hall, all fly fishing workshops and instruction, a tour of Great Camp Sagamore, use of canoes on Sagamore Lake and access to walking trails. June 29-July 1, 2018 Join a group of like-minded women for a reading and writing retreat. Activities will include writing workshops, reflective paddling, arts-based activities, technical writing and experiential learning, and Adirondack -based readings to contemplate the role of sense of place in nature writing. We welcome Dr. Mary Breunig and Jessica Hendry Nelson to work with participants this weekend. Mary is from Brock University in Ontario, Canada. She is an Associate Professor in the Recreation and Leisure Studies program and the Graduate Program Director, Social Justice and Equity Studies at Brock. Mary has been published numerous times with writings on Outdoor and Experiential Education, Environmental Education, and Social Justice (http://www.marybreunig.com/publications). Creative Healing Connections - Art and Healing Retreat
September 14-16, 2018
The combination of close camaraderie, creative expression, and supportive instruction for women with chronic illnesses and cancer make this one of Sagamore’s most sought-after classes. Special music/arts/dream interpretation & yoga sessions fill this weekend and build friendships as well as memories. Partial scholarships are made possible individual donations and grants from Susan G. Komen, Knox, Pearsall Adirondack Foundations and support from Great Camp Sagamore.

Women in the Woods
September 14-16, 2018
Relax and retreat from the demands of everyday life in an ideal setting with women of similar interests. Take time to hike, paddle, spend time with other women outdoor enthusiasts, spend time in solitude, and use our natural setting to revitalize and renew yourself. Group will paddle and hike a local trail together, and gather around our historic leanto in the evening for an Adirondack campfire.
